FireIntervention

Overview

Fire alarm intervention window on a panel: the confirmation timer, the investigation timer started by the operator, and whether the window ended with the fire brigade being called.

Use FireIntervention on the panel Thing that owns the intervention window. Use FirePanel for panel alarm, acknowledge and reset state, and FireRouting for the transmission output itself.

  • Namespace: Pq.Adapters.Framework

When to Use

  • Panels that hold back brigade transmission for a confirmation time
  • Panels where the operator can start an investigation time after acknowledging the alarm
  • Installations where the audit must show whether the brigade was called or the alarm was cancelled in time

States

State Status id Description
InterventionIdle fire.intervention.idle (hidden) No intervention window is running
InterventionConfirming fire.intervention.confirming Confirmation time is running, transmission is held back
InterventionInvestigating fire.intervention.investigating Investigation time is running after operator acknowledgement
InterventionDispatched fire.intervention.dispatched The fire brigade has been called

InterventionIdle is the hidden default state: SetInterventionIdle(ct) publishes no status string, so the idle case clears the status slot.

Actions

Notes

  • FireIntervention is panel-level. Do not attach it to detectors or addresses.
  • FireInterventionCancelled and FireInterventionCleared both return the function to idle. Use Cancelled when the panel reports that the cancellation criterion ended the window, and Cleared when the panel only reports a return to idle.
