Sounder¶

Overview¶

Audible alarm signaling output for a siren, bell, or buzzer outside the fire-specific model.

When to Use¶

Intrusion alarm sirens and bells
Audible annunciators
Alarm buzzers with explicit activation events

Use SounderSupervision on the same Thing when the device reports circuit health.

States¶

State	Status id	Description
`On`	`control.on`	Sounder is active
`Off`	`control.off` (hidden)	Sounder is inactive

Off is the hidden default state: SetOff(ct) publishes no status string, so the function status is removed from the published status snapshot.

Each action sets the target state and publishes its listed event. Route a confirmed device transition to the matching action; do not publish the same PqEvent separately.
