PQA001 — Adapter configuration file not found¶
The generator finds no adapter registration in the project, so it generates nothing.
Every generated artefact — Thing classes, functions, commands, events, the dispatcher — is derived from the adapter's registration document. Without it the generator has no model to work from and stops before its first output.
The document must be visible to the compiler as an additional file:
Why this is reported¶
An empty generator run looks like a broken framework. Nothing is emitted, so the hand-written partials reference types that do not exist, and the first error the developer sees is a wall of unrelated "type not found" messages in their own code.
The usual cause is wiring, not content. The file is present on disk but not declared as an AdditionalFiles item, or it sits outside the project directory, so the compiler never hands it to the generator.
How to fix it¶
Declare the registration document as an additional file in the adapter project, as shown above.
Check the file is not empty. A file that exists but holds only whitespace reports the same diagnostic — the generator treats blank content as no configuration.
A project that intentionally has no adapter — a shared library, a test project — carries the framework reference without a registration document; this report is informational and does not fail the build.
If you disagree with a report¶
Do not suppress it. A wrong report is a bug in the check — report it with the project file that triggered it.
